As West Virginia shapes its future, its leaders must guide our course to meet ever-changing economic, social and technological demands of our day. Our conference brings those current and future leaders together to focus on the important leadership principles they will face.
The theme of this 6th Annual Conference is “Developing West Virginia's Future Leaders: A Look at the Four Generations at Work” based on the recently published book, Motivating The "What’s In It For Me?" Workforce, authored by our keynote speaker, Cam Marston. I encourage you to read this book in advance in order to maximize the impact of your attendance. Your registration fee includes a copy of the book.
We will also feature panel discussions with several distinguished West Virginia leaders, each providing thoughtful commentary on their own leadership experiences.
The West Virginia Roundtable is proud to be part of this conference. Prior conferences have been valuable workshops for business, education and community leaders to network with others and discuss leadership principles important to shaping our future. This 6th Annual Conference promises to be the best.
We are also happy that the 50 members of the 2008 class of Leadership West Virginia will be joining us for the conference. We also expect a significant number of West Virginia Roundtable members (senior leaders of large business and education organizations in West Virginia), as well as members of Imagine West Virginia. Combined with the large number of graduate students already registered, this assures a great mix of emerging and seasoned leaders coming together.
I hope you will review the website paying particular attention to the links to our conference sponsors, each of whom have invested time, money and commitment to the growth of West Virginia’s leaders. You can also review the program schedule and conference details.
Plan to attend this 6th Annual Leadership Conference on April 22-23 in Morgantown. You won’t be disappointed.
